Being "younger" doesn't really count for much at this stage of life. All of us Golden Grads have been on this curious planet nearly seven decades and more. We now find that we do a lot more remembering while our friendship circles do a lot more shrinking. Old friends become dearer to us each year. Each year's class of NHS graduates has its own cluster of special and unimpeachable reasons for holding fast to fond memories of high school friends! So, who are we Golden Graduates of NHS? Most of us are folks who are appreciative of NHS and support its continuing mission. And all of us are grateful beneficiaries of mid-teen experiences shared with other once-young men and women who remain close to our hearts. We "make new friends, but keep the old; one is silver, but the other is gold"...and, incidentally, blue. ("Who We Are" 2019 Newberg Echoes Archive)
